# Warlord & Traits

## Dynamic Traits & Crates

Open crates to obtain traits, which you can apply to your Warlord to create a unique NFT.

Traits come in five types: Emotions, Eyes, Hair, Suits, and Backgrounds, and they have four rarity levels: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Each trait improves the warlord's stats and rarity when applied.

By collecting trait cards from crates, you can upgrade their level, further improving their stats.

## Level / Ranks & Stats

By collecting XP, you level up your Warlord. Every 5 levels increase your rank, unlocking access to new regions. As your Warlord improves and gains new traits, its stats increase:

* **Power:** increases the chance of victory in combat encounters with region inhabitants.
* **Stealth:** increases the chance of passing an expedition stage without combat.
* **Exploration:** increases energy capacity by %
* **Earn:** increases Shards rewards in expeditions by %

## Traits Recycle

There is an option to recycle your traits if you want to free up space for rarer ones. Recycling your cards grants some XP, but be careful—this action is permanent and cannot be undone. You can hold a maximum of 12 traits, and recycling is unlimited.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://infinity-worlds.gitbook.io/platform/warlord-and-traits.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
